I was born and grew up in Northern Italy, where I completed my entire educational path before university. I am bilingual and have dual Italian/British Nationality, an aspect of my life that has always been extremely helpful in remaining open-minded and ideologically flexible in regards to difference. The duality of my cultural heritage has also greatly incited my curiosity for different cultures, places and people: an element that I always approach and that influences my creative practice, alongside notions of identity/displacement/self-awareness.
Upon completing my high school studies in Padova, Italy, I moved to London in September 2011 to start an undergraduate course in Contemporary Media Practice at the University of Westminster. I graduated in July 2014 with First Class Honours.
I co-founded Sgaia Foods, a vegan food business, in late 2015. I continue to pursue my interests in the correlation between humankind, communication and the issues of belonging / awareness in my ongoing creative practice. I like to make images and write things.
